Top Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps in Mexico: Q4 2024 Android Performance

In the fourth quarter of 2024, several carpooling and ridesharing apps showed notable trends in Mexico on the Android platform. Based on data provided by Sensor Tower, we observe the following performance metrics.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides saw its weekly downloads fluctuate, starting at around 137K and peaking at approximately 168K by the end of December. Meanwhile, its weekly active users showed a decline from over 10.8M to about 9.9M.

Uber - Request a ride experienced a steady increase in downloads, rising from 107K to nearly 145K by the end of the quarter. Its active user base also saw variations, peaking at around 5.6M in early December before settling at 4.5M.

inDrive. Rides with fair fares maintained a consistent download rate, with numbers increasing from 76K to 91K. Active users, however, exhibited a decreasing pattern, starting at 2.2M and dropping to 1.9M by December's end.

For DiDi Driver: Drive & Earn Cash, downloads varied, with a notable peak at 92K in late December. Active users initially increased to over 1M mid-quarter but showed a decline to 856K towards the end.

Lastly, Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver saw a rise in downloads, reaching 80K in late December. Its active users hovered around the 1M mark, with slight fluctuations throughout the period.
